There is no other way to get clovers, their goal is to give bonuses to new players and encourage them to try different strategies of upgrading. At some point you will get no more (unless you complete all the objectives on the clover's list, which is impossible in the demo).
But don't worry, it's normal to lose often before reaching the epilogue of the game (it's a kind of "die and retry"); you'll need to be strategic and lucky!

Some suggestions have been added to the game: countdown for the clock hand and a symbol appearing when the cursor hovers over a hero. FYI: the score displayed after a dice roll is the dice score + bonus (example: if your score is 7 after facing a fighter with Sorn and the Ally, it means you rolled a 5 and your total bonus is +2 (Sorn bonus + Ally bonus). What a fun board game! really feels like I could play a physical copy.
One question I had was there any way to get more clovers other than the achievement hunting?
clovers seem really strong as they basically give you a free no risk move because your die can't break when using them)
